Both actors want:
  • The last chair.
  • Only one gets it.
  • No physical aggression.
  • They must negotiate.

Exercise B: Conflicting Objectives in Silence
  • Actor A: Get your friend to stay.
  • Actor B: Leave immediately.
No predetermined ending.

Exercise C: Hidden Obstacle
Actor A: "You cannot say the word 'yes.'" Or: "You must hide that you're upset."
Partner doesn't know. Monologue or Scene unfolds naturally.

Exercise D: Environmental Obstacle
Simple task: Set the table.
  • Obstacle: The lights keep flickering.
  • Or: You're carrying something extremely fragile.
  • Or: You're late.
Learn that behavior changes under pressure.
