1. TONGUE TWISTERS WITH EMOTIONAL OBJECTIVES
The goal is not perfect diction—it's maintaining a clear emotional objective while speaking difficult text.
Exercise A: Emotional Tongue Twister
Tongue Twister: "Unique New York."
Objectives:
  • Convince your friend not to move away.
  • Beg your parent for a car.
  • Threaten someone who owes you money.
  • Flirt with someone you like.
  • Try not to cry.
The focus becomes: "Can I pursue an objective while staying understandable?"

Exercise B: Emotional Escalation
Use: "Red leather, yellow leather."
  • Round 1: Neutral
  • Round 2: Annoyed
  • Round 3: Furious
  • Round 4: Heartbroken
  • Round 5: Ecstatic
You'll discover that articulation often disappears when emotion increases.
